Catering Cajun has been serving Louisiana for 20 years and expanded to metro Atlanta in 2002. Catering Cajun is owned and operated by Scott Hayes, a Louisiana native who saw the need for an authentic bayou style catering operation in Georgia.

We use authentic bayou country recipes for our specialties that are seasoned just right, not peppery hot. But that’s just the start. Catering Cajun specializes in BBQs, seafood boils and Louisiana cuisine, but we can prepare a wide range of food fare suitable for any occasion.

“We cook for others the way we would cook for ourselves,” says Hayes. “I won’t offer something I wouldn’t eat myself. It’s a simple philosophy, but one that works.

Our portable smoker ovens & cooking/boiling units are capable of feeding large groups under virtually any conditions or location. Utility companies have come rely on Catering Cajun to provide hearty home-style meals for their relief workers in the aftermath of hurricanes and ice storms. Churches have used us to feed large gatherings like youth conferences that exceed the capacity of their kitchen and volunteer staff capabilities. And businesses have made their customers and employees happy with great hot meals served fresh on the spot…wherever that spot happened to be.

“In Louisiana, it all starts with the food, and we know that any event is a success if the meal is memorable,” says Hayes. “For us, it’s a labor of love.”
